Hello ProBoosters 👋,

Let’s clear the air once and for all about the Request feature. Some of us have been posting our products there, and while we understand the excitement, that’s not what “Request” is meant for.

Think of it this way:

  • Listings = What you SELL (your products, services, offers).
  • Requests = What you WANT (things you’re looking for, services you need, suppliers you seek).

❌ Wrong Use of Request

  • Posting “Fresh Plantain available, call me” 🥴
  • Uploading pictures of branded pillows or frames with a caption like “I deal in all kinds of branding.”
  • Using it as a second shop window for your products.

👉 That belongs in Listings, not Requests.

✅ Correct Use of Request

Requests are powerful because they help you attract vendors and freelancers who can serve you directly. Here are good examples:

  • “Looking for a photographer in Lagos this weekend.”
  • “Need 100 branded T-shirts for a company event.”
  • “Searching for a reliable plantain supplier for weekly delivery.”

See the difference? It’s about what you need, not what you already sell.

💡 Why Use Request Properly?

  1. You’ll get faster, targeted responses from the right vendors.
  2. Buyers will trust the platform flow more when it’s neat.
  3. Your own listings get better visibility when the system isn’t clogged with misplaced posts.

What it’s for:

  • Post exactly what you’re looking for (e.g., “I need a graphics designer for a birthday flyer” or “Looking for 10 cartons of soft drinks for event”).
  • Other vendors on the platform can see your request and respond with offers. This means you’re not just waiting for buyers — you can also buy directly from fellow vendors.

🚫 What not to do:

  • Don’t use the request feature to post what you’re selling. That’s for the Listings section.
  • Don’t make vague requests like “I need something nice”. Be specific so vendors can quickly help you.

Why it matters:

Other vendors are watching requests every day — make yours count!

When you use it correctly, you create opportunities for collaboration and patronage inside the ProBooster360 community.

🔑 Final Takeaway

👉 If you sell, use Listings.
👉 If you need something, use Request.
Simple as that. Let’s all do our part to keep ProBooster360 growing strong. 💪
